Cana & Jason

Married for 10 years- Open Adoption- Either Gender

Jason and Cana are a deeply devoted couple whose lives are centered around faith, family, and the dream of becoming parents. Married since 2015, their relationship is built on genuine friendship, laughter, and mutual respect. They often describe each other as best friends, soulmates, and teammates—always ready to support one another through life’s greatest joys and hardest challenges.

Their connection began through a mutual friend, and from their very first outing—an afternoon of four‑wheeler riding—they realized something special was unfolding. Three years later, they married in a celebration filled with family, football, and joy. Their wedding day was memorable not only for their vows but also for a big Arkansas football win, which made an already magical night even sweeter.

Jason is 46 and works in the utility construction industry alongside his father, which has created an especially close father‑son bond. He is steady, loyal, and known for his sense of humor—he can make anyone laugh, even on the hardest days. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and racing dirt‑track cars. He values family traditions, quality time, and creating a home where children feel secure and supported.

Cana is 32 and works as a dental assistant. She grew up in a big, close family and stays deeply connected with her mom and siblings. She’s the one who brings warmth and creativity into their home—she loves baking homemade bread, cooking for loved ones, reading, spending time by the water, and making everyday moments special. She believes in kindness, compassion, and nurturing a child’s natural curiosity.

They live in a friendly, family‑oriented community with lots of activities for children—pumpkin painting in the fall, movie nights in the town square, zoo lights during the holidays, and farmers markets in the spring. Their home includes two beloved beagles, Murphy (11) and Pete (6–7), who are gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with children.

Safety is an important priority to them—they have secure fencing, well‑lit outdoor spaces, and strong routines for keeping their home protected.

Jason and Cana were raised in Christian homes and now attend a non‑denominational church together. Their faith shapes how they treat others—with love, grace, and empathy. They hope to teach their child the value of kindness, belonging, and unconditional support.

Both of their extended families are incredibly excited for them to adopt. Jason’s family lives close by and gathers often for meals, vacations, and holidays. Cana’s large family fills their lives with nieces, nephews, sibling gatherings, shared celebrations, and constant love. Their child would grow up surrounded by cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a joyful, active community of people who cannot wait to embrace a new little one.

Jason and Cana believe in positive, consistent parenting that focuses on communication, encouragement, and age‑appropriate boundaries. Their hope is to raise a child who feels safe to explore, grow, and be themselves. They plan to introduce their future child to a wide range of experiences—outdoor adventures, sports, arts, and community events—while letting interests develop naturally.

They hope to enroll their child in a local private school known for small class sizes, strong values, and a nurturing community.

After experiencing fertility challenges, including a miscarriage following IVF in 2023, their hearts turned fully toward adoption. From the beginning, they have believed that family is created through love, not just biology, and they are ready to pour their hearts into welcoming a child.

Jason and Cana hope to build a relationship that is grounded in respect, honesty, and compassion. They want any expecting mom to feel supported and valued, and they are open to semi‑open adoption, with communication and contact tailored to what feels healthiest and most comfortable for everyone involved—especially the child.
