Kassian & Aaron

Open Adoption- Any Gender- Married 10 years

For nearly twelve years, Aaron and Kassian have been building a life rooted in love, family, faith, and adventure. High school sweethearts who began dating in September 2014, they have now shared over a decade of life together and have been happily married since August 2016.

Their story began with a simple Facebook message after Kassian's baptism. What started as a friendship quickly became something much deeper. They officially began dating on September 4, 2014, married on August 20, 2016, and have spent the years since growing together through every stage of life. Rather than growing apart as they changed, they grew together, becoming the spouses, parents, and people they are today side by side.

Today, they live in Arkansas with their two children, Sebastian ("Bash") and Kendall, along with several beloved pets. Their home is filled with laughter, activity, traditions, and a great deal of love. Together, they are excitedly waiting to welcome another child into the family they have spent years building.

A Life Centered Around Family

Family is at the heart of everything Aaron and Kassian do. They believe childhood should be filled with love, encouragement, adventure, and meaningful traditions. Whether they are cheering from the sidelines at a baseball game, traveling to cheer competitions, decorating for holidays, spending weekends at the lake, or simply enjoying family movie nights at home, they are intentional about creating memories together.

Their extended family plays a big role in their lives. Grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and close friends are actively involved and excited about their adoption journey. Any child welcomed into their home will not only gain loving parents and siblings but also a large support system ready to embrace them wholeheartedly.

Their children, Bash and Kendall, are especially excited about becoming a big brother and big sister again and cannot wait to welcome a new baby into the family.

One fun fact about this family is that they're big Elvis Presley fans. Their appreciation for Elvis goes back several generations and has become a lighthearted family tradition over the years.

Kendall has especially embraced that tradition. She even has a life-size Elvis figure in her bedroom and loves telling people that one day she can't wait to tour Elvis Presley's private jet. It's one of those quirky family interests that always sparks conversation and brings a lot of smiles.

While not everyone shares the same hobbies and interests, Aaron and Kassian love encouraging their children to enjoy the things that make them unique, and Elvis has certainly become a memorable part of their family's story

Meet Aaron

Aaron is a Master Electrician and Co-Manager of the estimating department at his family's electrical contracting business. Hardworking, dependable, and deeply family-oriented, he is the kind of person who is always working on a project, helping someone out, or finding a reason to be outdoors.

His hobbies include hunting, fishing, football, lake days, and DIY projects. One of his greatest joys is sharing these experiences with his children, whether that means fishing at a family pond, helping Bash practice baseball and football, or simply spending time together outside.

Aaron is a hands-on father who believes in showing up for whatever his children love. From tumbling practice and cheer stunts to ballgames and outdoor adventures, he enjoys being involved in their interests and helping them develop their confidence and abilities.

Those who know Aaron describe him as patient, hardworking, loyal, and incredibly devoted to his family.

Meet Kassian

Kassian is an Office Manager and Project Management Assistant whose creativity, warmth, and organization touch every part of family life. She plans to bring the new baby to work with her for as many months as possible before daycare.

She loves DIY projects, decorating, baking, makeup, party planning, and creating meaningful experiences for the people she loves. Whether she is planning a birthday party, organizing a family vacation, hosting a holiday gathering, or helping a friend celebrate a special occasion, she enjoys making people feel cared for and valued.

Kassian is also deeply involved in her children's activities. She loves helping Kendall with competitive cheer and tumbling while also spending time practicing baseball with Bash. She values being present for the moments that matter, big and small.

Family traditions are especially important to her. From baking Christmas cookies to planning surprise celebrations, she believes the little moments often become the most treasured memories.

Those closest to Kassian know her as creative, nurturing, thoughtful, and someone who always goes the extra mile for those she loves.

Adventures Big and Small

The Wilkins family loves spending time together and making memories through travel and shared experiences.

Some of their favorite family vacations include trips to Disney, beach vacations, weekends at Lake Norfork, river outings, and family reunions in Branson. They enjoy boating, tubing, paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, and spending time outdoors.

During cheer season, they often travel together to competitions, turning each trip into a family adventure. They believe some of life's greatest memories are made not only on big vacations but also through everyday moments spent together.

Whether it is a weekend at the lake, a Disney vacation, a sporting event, or a quiet evening at home, they value quality time together above everything else.

Holidays and Traditions

Holidays are a special part of life in the Wilkins household.

Christmas includes gingerbread houses, Christmas lights, cookies for Santa, and even powdered sugar footprints by the fireplace. Thanksgiving brings family together around good food and meaningful conversation. Fourth of July celebrations are spent at the lake enjoying fireworks, and Halloween means costumes, trick-or-treating, and fun family outings.

Aaron and Kassian intentionally create traditions that their children will remember and cherish throughout their lives, and they are excited to share those traditions with another child.

Their Adoption Journey

Aaron and Kassian's path to adoption grew from both heartache and hope.

After experiencing fertility challenges and ultimately learning they would not be able to safely grow their family through pregnancy, they began exploring adoption. During that process, something felt immediately right. What could have been viewed as a closed door became an opportunity to open another.

Today, they see adoption not as a second choice, but as the path that was always meant to lead them to their next child.

They have prepared their home, renovated a beautiful nursery together with their own hands, and opened their hearts completely to the journey ahead. Their children, family, and friends have all embraced this journey alongside them.

The Child They Hope For

Aaron and Kassian are open to meeting the child who is meant for their family. After much thought, conversation, and prayer, they currently feel most prepared to adopt a child who shares a similar ethic background to their family. Their desire comes from wanting to provide a child with a strong sense of belonging while parenting from the experiences and perspective they know best.

More than anything, they are focused on finding the right connection and providing a loving, stable, and lifelong home to the child who is meant to become part of their family.

A Message From Aaron & Kassian

"To the expecting mother who may be reading this and considering our family, we want you to know that before we ever know your name or your story, we are already praying for you. We pray for your health, your heart, your strength, and your future. We can only imagine the emotions and decisions you may be facing, and we have so much respect for you.

If you choose us to become your baby's family, please know that your baby will be entering a home where they have already been prayed for, dreamed about, prepared for, and loved long before we ever get the opportunity to hold them. They will have a mom and dad who will love them unconditionally, a big brother and sister who cannot wait to welcome them, and an entire family ready to surround them with love.

We promise to give your baby a childhood filled with family traditions, holidays, vacations, lake days, sports, laughter, bedtime snuggles, celebrations, and all of the little everyday moments that make a childhood special. We will encourage their dreams, teach them to be kind and loving, support them through life's difficult moments, and make sure they always have a safe place to come home to.

We also want you to know that you will never be forgotten. You will forever be an important part of our child's story and, in a special way, part of ours as well. We will continue to pray for you long after the day your baby is placed in our arms. We will pray that you have a beautiful, happy, healthy life and that you always know how much gratitude we carry in our hearts for you.

Our journey to our third child may look different than we once imagined, but we truly believe God has led us to adoption for a reason. We believe He already knows the baby who will complete our family and the woman who will bring that precious life into the world.

If that woman happens to be you, we hope you know that choosing us would be a gift and a responsibility we would never take for granted. We promise to spend our lives making sure your baby knows they were never unwanted. They were deeply loved, incredibly brave decisions were made for them, and they were prayed for every step of the way.

Thank you for simply taking the time to learn about our family and considering us for something so precious. No matter where your journey leads, we pray you feel supported, respected, and at peace with the decision that is right for you and your baby."    Kassian & Aaron
