This family is all about pouring into their community; giving back to others encompasses who they are. Now they are ready to give the love in their hearts to a new baby boy or girl. Mark and Katie are of the Catholic faith and are very involved in their church. They have a 5-year- old son, who is ready to be a big brother, and one golden retriever in the home. Mark spends his days working as a general manager for an appliance store. He enjoys helping his customers design their dream kitchen. Katie enjoys her job at the bank as a community development officer; her tasks include organizing events and marketing and community development. In their free time, Mark enjoys wake surfing and gravel cycling. Katie enjoys time with her friends and being with family. Together this family believes in getting outdoors, where they hike and go to the lake. 

Mark and Katie met on their college news show TV 6 where Mark was in production and Katie was the TV anchor. During this time, they only saw each other and hung out as friends. After college they stayed in touch and decided to get together for dinner before the Madonna concert Katie had booked in the area where Mark lived. They instantly had an attraction to each other and began dating! After several months Mark popped the question and they have been married for almost 10 years!
