Maria and Matt are a Christian couple in Tennessee that have been married seven years. They met in Memphis playing tennis and dated for a couple of years before Matt proposed in Disney World on New Years Eve! They were married surrounded by their family and friends.

This couple emphasizes they have been praying for each birth parent considering adoption and appreciate anyone taking the time to know more about them. They are excited to grow their family through adoption. After years of infertility, they have learned so much about themselves and know they have so much love in their heart for a child. Maria and Matt are excited to be called Mom and Dad. They enjoy the thought of exposing their child to different cultures and new things.

Maria moved to America from Venezuela at age 13. Spanish is her first language. Family is very important to her; through her family, a child would have 14 aunts and uncles. She works for a non-profit raising funds for a cause she is passionate about.

Matt was adopted at one day old and he has a deep appreciation for open adoption. He loves to spend time with family and works in a store that they own.  

They enjoy playing tennis and going to the movies. They stop and celebrate the small things each day. Their home is filled with laughter and happiness. Orlando is one of their favorite places to travel together and they are waiting for the day to take their little one.
