Trent (40) and Samantha (37) have been happily married for 15 years. Their love story began in a ceramics class in college, where they discovered shared passions for art, travel, and family. “When you know, you know,” they say—after just six months of dating, they knew they were meant to build a life together.

They live in Arkansas, and both come from close-knit families who are thrilled about their adoption journey. Trent is a teacher at a local elementary school and Samantha owns an Art Boutique. They are both college graduates, and Samantha also holds a master’s degree in Art Education. Their home is filled with creativity, laughter, and a strong sense of faith—they are active in their local church and value community and family traditions.

What They Love to Do

Trent and Samantha share a love for creativity and adventure. Trent enjoys woodworking, building with Legos, playing video games, and traveling. Samantha loves painting, crafting, reading, decorating, and working on unique projects—her current favorite is designing the nursery where she hand painted most of the art (Pictured below). Together, they love exploring art museums, hiking, kayaking, and planning family trips. Disney World and the beach are their favorite vacation spots, and they often take trips to Branson with extended family. They also enjoy hosting family gatherings and celebrating holidays with matching pajamas and big dinners.

Parenting Beliefs

Trent and Samantha believe parenting should be rooted in love, communication, and guidance. They value explaining choices and helping children understand why certain behaviors are not the best, while encouraging better decisions for the future. They want their child to feel safe, supported, and free to explore their interests—whether in sports, arts, or academics. Their goal is to raise a strong, confident, and kind individual in a home filled with laughter, encouragement, and faith.

Family Life

Their home is cozy and ready for a little one, complete with a gender-neutral nursery. They also share their space with three loving dogs—JellyRoll, Peanut, and Cinni—who adore children. Holidays and family gatherings are a big part of their lives, and they look forward to including a child in these cherished traditions.
